Cobra is delighted to announce the completion on Friday 30th April of the integration of their Sunbury based Automotive Electronic Systems subsidiary and their Sale based Stolen Vehicle Tracking subsidiary into one business trading as Cobra UK Limited. The Sunbury site previously traded as Cobra Automotive Technologies UK Limited. There are no other structural or operational changes to either business unit.he Sale office in South Manchester is the UK nerve centre for Location Based Services, including Stolen Vehicle Tracking Services. Cobra is the European market leader for Stolen Vehicle Tracking and the only approved pan European supplier to: Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, Infiniti, Lamborghini, Maserati, Nissan, Porsche, Renault and Tesla. Cobra offers fully integrated stolen vehicle tracking services across 36 European countries and Russia.
From Sale, the company also manages the installation of the tracking technology that records vehicle usage for Coverbox Pay as you Drive Insurance - an innovative new type of policy targeted at delivering much cheaper premiums for mainly young and retired drivers who drive during off peak hours only. Four household name insurers are participating so far, with more planned. The scheme has launched to a flying start, with thousands of policies already written.
The Sunbury office in West London remains the operational hub for the sales and distribution of a diverse range of Automotive Electronic Systems for vehicle manufacturer installation and aftermarket fitment, ranging from Cobra anti-theft alarms for both cars and motorcycles, to Cobra ParkMaster aftermarket parking aids, Rosen retro fit in-vehicle DVD systems, BlueConnect Bluetooth handsfree systems and E-Cruise aftermarket cruise control and speed limiters.

AVCIS has announced a partnership with Cobra UK, the European market leader for stolen vehicle tracking, as part of a joint initiative to combat vehicle-enabled crime, reduce police response times and improve recovery rates.
