As Valentine's Day approaches, your other half may be happier polishing his sports car than finding you a special gift and more interested in brake fluid levels than taking you out for a romantic dinner. So if you're struggling to compete with what is hopefully the 'second' greatest love in his life, why not buy him a Valentine's gift that will give him the peace of mind to turn his attentions to you this February.
Due to advances in car alarm and immobiliser technology, criminals are now stealing vehicle keys in order to overcome anti-theft devices. If stolen, unless the car is fitted with a GPS tracking system, there is little chance of him being reunited with his vehicle.
CobraTrak's proactive tracking systems with Automatic Driver Recognition (ADR) include a unique ADR card, which recognises the authorised driver. If the vehicle is moved and the ADR card has not been detected, a silent alert will be transmitted to the Secure Operating Centre, who will contact the authorised driver to ensure that a vehicle theft has not taken place. If a theft is confirmed, Cobra UK will immediately track the vehicle using GPS/GSM technology and liaise with local police to help recover his prized run-around.
Andrew Smith, Managing Director of Cobra UK explains, "Thieves have two main options when attempting to steal a modern car. They can either take the keys or lift it on to a truck. But whichever method they go for, a tracking device is a thief's worst enemy as it can lead police to the exact location of the vehicle. CobraTrak systems use the latest in GPS/GSM technology to provide pinpoint positioning of a stolen vehicle and offer the very best solution in Europe-wide stolen vehicle tracking."
So, whether it's a sleek two-seater convertible, a turbocharged 4x4, or a priceless classic, show the man in your life that you care by fitting a CobraTrak GPS vehicle tracking system to his most treasured possession, and get ready for that dinner for two!
