Cobra Automotive Technologies, one of the major international
operators in the field of security solutions for the automotive
market, is delighted to announce the appointment of Miles Garner as
General Sales Manager for Cobra in the UK.
Miles will oversee all commercial activities for both of Cobra's
businesses in the UK. He will report directly to Andrew
Smith, Managing Director.
Miles has a strong sales and marketing track record within the
European telematics and motor industries, having worked for Sony
from 1997 until 2006 in a variety of UK and European roles.
He then moved to RDM Automotive Group as Sales and Marketing
Director. RDM provided a bespoke electronics design and
manufacturing service to OEM car manufacturers and importers and
designed and ran the Autotxt stolen vehicle recovery programme for
Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin. Miles remained with Autotxt as
Head of Sales and Marketing when it was bought by PA Consulting in
2007.

Miles will be based at Cobra's Sunbury office and will drive New
Business Development and manage Sales Operations for both the
Automotive Electronic Systems and Stolen Vehicle Tracking
businesses.
