The Role
Cobra is looking for a bright, proactive and articulate
individual, willing to get involved at all levels of our Technical
Help Desk. The individual will be responsible for providing
internal and external customers with technical information and
support on all products supplied by Cobra UK Ltd, reporting
directly to the Product and Services Manager.
An in-depth knowledge of all product groups, specifications and
vehicle data is required to be able to support all customers with
installation, warranty and service related queries. The candidate
needs to be able to demonstrate a track record of offering a high
standard of customer service throughout all aspects of
business.
The role includes proactively educating dealers on how best to
improve their technical knowledge
Key Responsibilities
• Offering dealers all aspects of technical support as and when
required and ensuring that issues are followed through to
successful closure
• Managing all aspects of our Cobra Technical Data Base
• Monthly Call KPI Management Reports
• Second line support queries
• Process review and improvement
• Educating dealers in best practice for installing Cobra
products
Qualifications and Skills
The successful candidate must be educated to a high standard and
will ideally have a minimum of 2 years alarm fitting and/or Cobra
product experience within the aftermarket electronics sector. The
following skills are also considered desirable:-
• Demonstrable track record in fitting Cobra Products
• Must be competent in fitting alarms, parking sensors and cruise
control products
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and numerical capability
• Able to demonstrate strong personal initiative and work largely
unsupervised
